Alka Selot Asthana is a technology leader with over 30 years experience in telecommunication industry across Network and IT domains . She is VP and Head Regulatory Affairs Tata Communications Limited. 

She served in Government of India for two decades as Indian Telecom Services officer  and then  moved to corporate world. She was the CTO of Indus Towers Limited,  formerly known as Bharti Infratel Limited for 7 years. She briefly served as  Executive Director in Telecommunications Consultants India Limited, a Government of India Public Sector Undertaking 

She also runs Sangati Foundation, her personal initiative for improving accessibility, mobility, inclusivity and visibility for People-with-Disability in India. Sangati Foundation works across the country, for all forms of disabilities and with a multi-pronged approach with focus on advocacy, awareness, solution design, skill development, employment & Livelihood, promotion of talent, community outreach & collaboration and accessible tourism.  

 She is a keen observer of life through travelling, reading and writing. She is a published poet with 4 collections, Hindi and English. and writes blogs to share her musings.
