An alumnus of JNU, Delhi & a Padma Shri recipient he has carved his place in International geo-politics and diplomacy as a sharp, focussed and assertive representative of India. Often referred to as “the south block’s China specialist” he has emerged as the Modi government's most articulate voice that marked India's geopolitical rise in a sharply polarised world. Jaishankar used his stern diplomacy skills to full throttle while slamming Canada recently in an international standoff and has also played a crucial role in India’s distinct stance in Russia-Ukraine war.
