Smt. Nita M. Ambani is an educationist, philanthropist & corporate leader. She is also the owner of Mumbai Indians, the most successful cricket team in the IPL. Smt. Ambani also plays a significant role in several major ventures of the Reliance conglomerate such as the Reliance Foundation. She is the first Indian woman to be elected as a member of the International Olympic Committee in 2016 and was re-elected unanimously in 2024, and the first Indian to be elected an Honorary Trustee of the Board of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York. She will also now serve as the chairperson of the joint venture (JV) that includes JioCinema and Hotstar which is projected to be one of largest media companies in India.
