Sri Sri Ravishankar the world renowned spiritual leader at the helm of the famous Art of Living program has remained at the forefront of advocating for interfaith dialogue and cultural understanding, especially through initiatives that bring together leaders of different faiths to discuss global peace. Popularly known as “Gurudev” he has been awarded by governments and institutions across the world, including the highest civilian awards of Colombia, Mongolia, Paraguay, Suriname and Fiji. In 2016, he was conferred with the ‘Padma Vibhushan’, the highest annual civilian award of India. He has also been conferred with 27 honorary doctorates from around the world.
