Sh. T. V. Somanathan is a 1987 batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the Tamil Nadu cadre. At present, he is serving as the Cabinet Secretary of India since 30 August 2024 . Before this he served as the Finance Secretary of India (Department of Expenditure).
